Ken Hurshowy and Clarence Reimer have built and
installed six terrific ball holders around our courts. Thank you, Ken and
Clarence!
Feel free to use them during your round robin play. We will continue to
store the balls in our storage unit as before but, as you are getting ready to
play on your court, take the balls you are going to use from our storage unit
and place them in the ball holder nearest the court on which you are going to
play. When you are finished playing, please return the balls to the storage
unit.
Durafast 40 is the Tournament Ball for Battle of the Paddle
and we will have those available for you as you get ready for the
tournament.
After the tournament, our club ball will be the Onyx and that will be
the ball which we encourage all players to use for all club play.
Durafast 40 will still be available for you to use if you wish but the club play
ball will be the darker yellow Onyx. These Onyx balls simply last longer and
break less frequently.
And speaking of balls, please try not to inadvertently leave the
courts with any club balls. It happens, accidentally, from time to
time, I know, but please return any club balls you have.
Ken and Clarence have also installed hooks just under the rim of
the hockey boards. You can use these hooks hang your bags and keep them off the
grass and out of the sun. Thank you!
